We lack confidence - Johnson
Bristol City, 16:24, December 1, 2008 ,
Bristol City boss Gary Johnson has blamed his side's slump on a "lack of confidence" and does not know when they will win again.
The Robins have won just once in eight games as Johnson's hope of reaching the top six by Christmas looks set to be out of reach.
And Johnson also admits he has too many players out of form at the moment.
The Ashton Gate chief told the Western Daily Press: "It's nothing that a win or two wouldn't put right, but I can't see where those wins are going to come from at the moment.
"I can't see them around the corner and we're going to have to work very hard to get them. There's a lack of confidence that means the lads aren't doing the things that win you matches.
"All I can do is keep working with them and hope our luck and our confidence changes."
The Robins have been drawn against Portsmouth in the third round of the FA Cup.
