Arnesen confirms Kuyt talks
Hamburg have opened talks with the agent of Liverpool midfielder Dirk Kuyt, according to director of football Frank Arnesen.
The Dutch international has been linked with a move away from Anfield, where he has been since 2006, having struggled for regular first-team action under Reds boss Kenny Dalglish. And, Arnesen is adamant that the German Bundesliga outfit have a good chance of signing him. "We were not told that Dirk Kuyt doesn't want to come here," he told reporters. "He is an experienced player that could help our young players a lot. "If he decides to leave Liverpool, there are some good arguments for Hamburg."
