Hamburg director of sports Frank Arnesen says he won't bring in any more players from Chelsea after the failures of last season.

The Danish director has come in for some stick for bringing in so many players from his old club, with the likes of Jacopo Sala, Michael Mancienne, Gokhan Tore and Slobodan Rajkovic having all made the switch to Germany. However, so far none of the moves have worked out and Hamburg endured their worst season for some time last term as they only just avoided relegation from the Bundesliga. Arnesen had reportedly been lining up loan bids for Chelsea players Romelu Lukaku and Kevin de Bruyne but has distanced himself from those rumours and has assured fans he doesn't expect anymore ex-Blues' players to arrive anytime soon. "I did not want to sign any of their players," he told the Hamburger Morgenpost. "There were one or two candidates, but I believe the media here have not treated the Chelsea boys well. This is not a problem for me, but it is for the players. They are young, and the way they were dealt with was not fair."
