Badstuber bemoans lack of aggression
Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber has slammed his side's performance in Tuesday's shock defeat to BATE Borisov.
The Bavarians travelled to Belarus as massive favourites to win the Champions League Group F match but were easily undone, as Viktor Goncharenko's men ran out 3-1 winners.
Badstuber believes the reason for their defeat was down to a lack of aggression from his team-mates but insists they didn't fall foul of complacency.
"We don't know how we conceded against that team, but we just weren't aggressive enough in one-on-ones to win balls, and they were just clinical with their counterattacks, and that can be enough," he said. "We take every opponent seriously. We knew what to expect here, especially after they beat Lille 3-1 away."
