Bayern make Howedes offer
Bayern Munich have reportedly offered Schalke €5 million plus full-back Rafinha in exchange for the highly-rated Benedikt Howedes.
The 24-year-old has regularly been linked with the Bavarian giants and Bayern reportedly had a bid for the player rejected last summer. The Gelsenkirchen club said in January that they would start listening to offers for their best players due to their financial issues and interest in Howedes is understandably high. However, sporting director Horst Held is adamant that they want to keep the German international and won't be selling him at any price. "Benedikt is a Schalke man and has no intention of leaving us - we are not thinking of selling him," he told der Westen.
