Benaglio signs new deal
Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio has signed a new five-year contract with the Bundesliga club.
The Switzerland international, who joined Wolfsburg from CD Nacional in 2008, had a year left on his current deal and will now extend his stay at the club until 2017.
Benaglio says he is delighted to be staying at Volkswagen Arena: "It is a great feeling to know that I am still needed here and that the club is counting on me.
"Wolfsburg has become my home and I am very happy in the city and I think I am well looked after at this club.''
The 28-year-old has made 124 appearances for Wolfsburg since his move from Portugal, including 31 this season in which the Swiss stopper has kept seven clean sheets.
