Bendtner linked with Dortmund switch
Nicklas Bendtner has been linked with as move to Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund after ending his loan spell at Sunderland.
The 24-year-old was packed off to the Stadium of Light after falling down the pecking order at Arsenal and he enjoyed moderate success on Wearside. He was the club's joint-top scorer but only found the back of the net on eight occasions for the Black Cats, as they finished in mid-table. It appears that he has little future at the Emirates Stadium and will look to leave this summer, and will hope to impress for Denmark at the European Championships to put himself in the shop window. Even before the tournament has started, he has been mentioned as a potential target for the German giants but there has, as yet, been no dialogue between the relevant parties.
