De Jong dreaming of Bayern move

FC Twente star Luuk de Jong admits it would be a "dream" to play for Bayern Munich but is aware of interest from other clubs.

The 21-year-old striker enjoyed an excellent season in the Dutch top flight, scoring 25 goals to help his side secure a top-six finish. He was rewarded with a place in the Netherlands 23-man squad for Euro 2012 and will look to put himself in the shop window with his displays in Poland and Ukraine. Bayern are known to be in the hunt for a new striker with Manchester City's Edin Dzeko also said to be on their wish-list, but it is unclear whether that deal will go ahead and so it could be that the Dutchman becomes their number one target. And he would certainly be keen for that to happen, saying: "Bayern Munich are a fantastic club. It is my dream to one day play for them. "I know there are a number of clubs interested in me. I have a three-year contract in Enschede, but if an interesting offer comes then I will certainly think about it."
