Favre waits on Gladbach decision
Coach Lucien Favre is waiting before deciding to sign a new contract to extend his stay at Borussia Monchengladbach beyond 2013.
The Swiss coach has enjoyed a successful spell with the German Bundesliga outfit having guided them away from a relegation scrap to the Champions League places in just over a year. And, despite having just 12 months remaining on his current deal, Gladbach's vice-president Rainer Bonhof is not worried that Favre has not put pen-to-paper on a contract because talks are still ongoing. "His contract runs until 2013 and I don't believe he is in any rush," he said. "We are in constant dialogue with him and we are very happy with Lucien Favre's work, which we have made clear. "Things are progressing and there is no deadline on either side."
