German trio eye Berbatov
Reports in Germany claim that three Bundesliga clubs are interested in signing Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov this summer.
The 31-year-old has been at Old Trafford for four years but, after a bright start to his career at the club, has become a peripheral figure. But he has scored goals every season, with 14 in his first season, followed by 12 in the 2009-2010 campaign and 21 last term. The former Bulgaria international hit-man has bagged nine this season from limited opportunities and it seems inevitable that he will be leaving the north west giants at the end of the season. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are all said to be interested in the experienced forward, with Dortmund favourites as they seek a replacement for Lucas Barrios.
