Germany and England just the same - Cisse
Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse feels life in the English Premier League is similar to what he experienced in the Bundesliga.
The 26-year-old moved to St James' Park in January after three season in Germany with SC Freiburg and has been a revelation since arriving in the north east.
He has scored 13 goals in 12 league appearances with two more, including a contender for goal of the season, in Newcastle's 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
The Senegal international hit-man was equally as prolific in the Bundesliga and he feels that there is hardly any difference in the standard between the two leagues.
"The Premier League and the Bundesliga are not so different," he said. "In each of the leagues it is extremely difficult to score goals because the defenders are so good. Germany was tough, just like it is now in England."
