Hamburg coach admits Kuyt interest

Hamburg coach Thorsten Fink has confirmed the club are interested in bringing Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt to Germany in the summer.

The Dutchman has spent six successful seasons on Merseyside but says he is now likely to leave Anfield in the summer after struggling to hold down a regular place under Kenny Dalglish. This has sparked interest from a number of clubs and Rothosen boss Fink says he would love to bring the 31-year-old to the Imtech Arena. "He has class, and he is also a fighter," Fink said. "There is nothing more that needs to be said about the quality of this player. Whether this is something we feel we can do is up to the directors."
