Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels insists he "won't be losing any sleep" over Sunday night's Supercup defeat to Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions were beaten 2-1 by their Bavarian rivals in the traditional curtain-raiser with Mario Mandzukic and Thomas Muller netting for Bayern. Robert Lewandowski pulled one back but, despite enjoying plenty of possession, they could not get the all-important equaliser. Hummels admitted that Dortmund were caught cold at the start of the match but felt they showed their true colours as the contest unfolded. "With and without the ball, we were very poor in the opening 20 minutes," he said. "In the second half we began to play more like we'd hoped to. "I don't think they had a chance in the second half, save for the shot from Robben. We had some great chances ourselves and if we'd played like that in the second half, we'd have got more from the game."
