Jennings hoping to make Bayern impression
Bayern Munich winger Dale Jennings is aiming to break into the club's first team next season after suffering an injury-hit campaign.
The 19-year-old, who made a shock move to the Bundesliga giants from Tranmere Rovers in the summer, has been unable to make an impact at the Allianz Arena in his debut season due to two groin injuries.
The youngster has admitted that it has been a frustrating time for him, though he says he is now concentrating on being fit for next season and trying to impress in pre-season and challenging for a first-team place.
"It has been frustrating," he said. "After the first operation [on his groin] I was just getting back to full fitness when it went again and I had to take another three months out and start all over.
"The coaches can see I haven't been 100 per cent fit but the club have been great - I think the staff are looking forward to seeing what I can do when I get there."
