Kagawa handed future deadline

Star striker Shinji Kagawa has been given a month to decide if his future lies with German champions Borussia Dortmund.

The Japan international, who has just over a year left on his current deal, has been offered a new extension to keep him at the club until summer 2016. But, with Kagawa dragging his feet over signing the deal, Dortmund have issued the player with a deadline. "It's about planning for the future of the club," sporting director Michael Zorc told Kicker. "Other positions are involved too. We need security."
