Lahm backs Bayern to improve
Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm believes there is more to come from his side after a 3-0 win at newly-promoted Greuther Furth.
After struggling early on to break down a stubborn Furth, a close-range Thomas Muller strike set Bayern on their way to victory on the opening day.
New signing Mario Mandzukic opened his account for the club before Arjen Robben made the game safe 10 minutes from time.
It was an impressive start by Bayern as they bid to win back the Bundesliga title from Borussia Dortmund, who started the campaign with a 1-0 home win over Werder Bremen.
"Of course we can get better. We can be very happy. 3-0 away from home is a very, very good start. I am looking forward positively," said Lahm.
Bayern will look to build on Saturday's victory when they entertain Stuttgart this weekend.
