Leverkusen eye Gamberini
Bayer Leverkusen have expressed an interest in Fiorentina's Alessandro Gamberini, according to the player's agent Francesco Romano.
The defender has one year left on his current La Viola deal and Leverkusen hope they can convince the 31-year-old to move to the Bundesliga.
However, the German side will face competition as Napoli and West Ham are also interested in Gamberini, while he may yet agree new terms with Fiorentina.
"We spoke to the club and will postpone the real negotiations to next week," Romano said.
"Alessandro has another year on his contract and his priority is the Fiorentina jersey. We will see the situation and discuss it, especially as we haven't lacked for offers.
"At the moment West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen have made enquiries for the player. As we said, he is owned by the Viola and so I sent the messages on to Fiorentina."
