Magath issues warning to want-away pair
Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath insists Diego and Simon Kjaer will remain at the Volkswagen Arena unless they can find alternative clubs.
The duo spent time out on loan last season, with Brazilian midfielder Diego helping Atletico Madrid win the Europa League and Danish defender Kjaer playing for Italian side Roma. Reports claimed that they were both set to depart the club this summer despite still having two years to run on their current deals. Magath appears willing to let them leave, but only if they are able to sort out their future before the start of the new campaign. "It's obvious that players of the class of Diego and Simon Kjaer will be unavailable for transfer if it reaches August," he said. "If they haven't worked out their transfers away from the club by then, they will be staying with us for the season."
