Magpies eyes Stuttgart target

Newcastle United have been linked with a move for free agent Sebastian Boenisch, who has been released by Werder Bremen.
The 25-year-old full-back joined Werder Bremen in 2007 but fell way down the pecking order at the club and was allowed to fall out of contract at the end of last season.
He has been linked with a switch to Bundesliga side Stuttgart, who have already made it clear that they are keen on the Polish international stopper.
But Alan Pardew's Magpies have now reportedly entered the race for his signature, as they look to strengthen their squad after a superb season in the English top flight.
The left-back has impressed this summer with three solid performances for Poland at Euro 2012 and news of Newcastle's interest might scupper Stuttgart's chances of landing their target.
