Mainz snare Klasnic
Bundesliga,

Former Bolton Wanderers striker Ivan Klasnic is now back in the Bundesliga after penning a one-year deal with Mainz.
The 32-year-old spent seven seasons with Werder Bremen before a two-year spell with French club Nantes and finally ending up at the Reebok Stadium in 2009.
But, following Bolton's relegation into the Championship, the Croatia international hit-man was released and signed for Mainz as a free agent.
He passed a medical on Monday night and, despite not being the club's first choice, general manager Christian Heidel feels his experience will be key.
"He was always our plan B," he said. "After the transfer of Adrian Ramos failed to materialise, we wanted to get this one wrapped up as quickly as possible."
"We were looking for an experienced player who knows the Bundesliga to go with our young attack. This is what we see in Ivan Klasnic. He has proven his quality, particularly his eye for goal, at all of his previous clubs."
