Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has admitted Bayern Munich feel "empty" following their shock defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League final.
The Bavarians eventually lost on penalties to the Premier League side despite dominating much of the game at their own Allianz Arena. Neuer says he cannot work out how his side lost after Didier Drogba equalised Thomas Mueller's goal - all in the last 10 minutes. "Defeats always hurt, but this is a moment in which we feel empty," he said. "We really don't know how this could have happened in such a way. "We just lacked that tiny bit of luck. I am a bit lost for words." The defeat caps a disappointing end to the season for Bayern, who also lost out on the domestic Bundesliga title to Borussia Dortmund.
