Neuer upbeat for Bayern glory
Bayern Munich keeper Manuel Neuer insists they do not fear any team in the Bundesliga and is confident of beating anyone this season.
The Bavarians came away empty-handed last season and suffered the heartache of losing the Champions League final to Chelsea on penalties. But they kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 success over rivals Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in DFL-Supercup at the weekend. Bayern are looking to reclaim the German title after back-to-back wins by Dortmund and Neuer is confident of taking care of all-comers. "We have shown that we are ready for it, and that we can beat any team we face," he said. Bayern get their new season under way with a trip to new boys Greuther Furth on August 25, while BVB will be in action 24 hours earlier in the Bundesliga curtain-raiser with Werder Bremen.
