Petersen targets Bremen glory

Werder Bremen striker Nils Petersen is hoping to bring some success to the club having joined the side on a loan deal this summer.

Petersen has struggled to play regular first-team football at the Allianz Arena and is now looking forward to getting some game time with Bremen this season.
He told the official Bundesliga website: "I never regretted the decision to move to Bayern. But I wanted to play and to know that the team needed me. Bremen made that clear from the beginning. They're an attacking side and I'm happy to hopefully be the one to score goals for them.
"Recently Bremen hasn't had the success that it had in the past, despite always being a top-half side. I just want to help the team to rediscover that success."
