Bayern Munich new boy Claudio Pizarro insists he will relish the competition for places at the Allianz Arena next season.

The 33-year-old is back at Bayern after leaving Werder Bremen on a free transfer and will be out to repeat the success he enjoyed during his first spell at the club between 2001 and 2007, when he scored 71 goals in 174 appearances.
Pizarro is set to battle it out with Mario Gomez and fellow new signing Mario Mandzukic for a place in the starting line-up next term, but the former Chelsea striker does not envisage any inner rivalries.
"It is a long season and unexpected things always happen. Therefore, it is important that we have enough players in every position so that we can compensate," said the Peru international. "We all have enough quality and I am sure that all three of us will get some of the action."
