Reus ready for new campaign
Marco Reus admits he can't wait for the Bundesliga season to start after scoring in the DFB-Pokal against Oberneuland on Saturday.
The 23-year-old moved to Borussia Dortmund from Borussia Monchengladbach for €17 million and wasted no time in making an impact, netting the first goal in the 3-0 win against lower league Oberneuland at the Weserstadion last weekend.
The German champions begin the defence of their title away at Werder Bremen on Friday and Reus admits he cannot wait for the game to start.
"I was pleased that I had a good game',' he told the German media. ''To get the early goal was very important and it was a great way to start the game.
"Quite simply, these fans are unbelievably great. It was a great taster ahead of Friday, when we will play against Werder in front of 80,000.
"I really can't wait."
