Schalke's Julian Draxler and Lewis Holtby have said they are targeting victory over arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund this season.

The German under-21 internationals vowed to get the better of the club that they failed to beat in three attempts last season. Dortmund are the current Bundesliga champions and Schalke have lost talismanic striker Raul but it has not deterred the youngsters coming out with fighting talk a fortnight ahead of their opening game against Hanover. The 21-year-old Holtby said: "Our advantage now is that we are more flexible and less predictable, it is time for a derby victory." While his team-mate Draxler commented, "We have enough quality, we must not to hide from the major players and teams and be smarter this season." Meanwhile, Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes received good news ahead of Sunday's Super Cup clash with Dortmund. German international Bastian Schweinsteiger is back in training after looking doubtful with an ankle injury.
