Schalke rivals eye Raul

The agent of Schalke striker Raul claims a rival Bundesliga club have made an approach to sign him on a Bosman free transfer.

The 34-year-old Spanish hitman's time at the Veltins Arena appears to be coming to an end as he is looking for a two-year contract, while Schalke are only willing to hand him another 12 months.
And, while his agent Gines Carvajal claims he wants to stay put, he admitted there is interest from another German side, while Qatari club Al Rayyan also want the former Real Madrid man.
"Raul will make his decision in a few days," Carvajal told Cadena COPE. "He has an offer from another Bundesliga club.
"But Raul wants to play only for Schalke in the Bundesliga."
