Schalke want Van der Vaart, claims agent

Rafael van der Vaart's agent has claimed Bundesliga outfit Schalke are interested in taking his client to Germany.

Now, Van der Vaart's representative Robert Geerlings has confirmed they are tracking the Netherlands ace. "I can confirm that Schalke are interested in Van der Vaart," the player's representative told Kicker. Spurs, Van der Vaart's current club, are expected to fight to keep hold of one of their key players, though the lure of Champions League football could turn the midfielder's head.
