Stevens out to steady Schalke's ship

Schalke coach Huub Stevens has told his side to tighten up as they prepare to take on Hannover on Sunday.

The Royal Blues finished third in the Bundesliga behind champions Borussia Dortmund and runners-up Bayern Munich last season.
However, Schalke lost legendary Spanish forward Raul over the summer and have not replaced him yet.
Stevens has now called on his players to make sure they concede less than the 44 goals shipped last term.
"Of course we miss those goals that Raul scored, but we can compensate for that by conceding fewer," he said.
"We conceded 44 last season and that is far too much for a top team."
