Former Bayern Munich star Thomas Strunz says the Bavarians need at least 10 new players to continue to compete at the highest level.
Strunz, who made over 150 Bundesliga appearances for the club, says he expects a major overhaul at the Allianz Arena in the summer regardless of whether or not they win the Champions League final on Saturday.
Furthermore, 44-year-old insists that the departing players need to be replaced with quality as the current starting XI don't have any competition for their first-team places.
"It's clear for me that Bayern need more squad depth," he said. "They need eight to 10 new players in my opinion. The starting XI is of enormous quality, but doesn't feel any pressure to perform on the training pitch."
