Manchester United are being tipped to sign Borussia Dortmund ace Shinji Kagawa this summer after he snubbed a new contract offer.
The German champions have confirmed that the Japan international is to leave them at the end of the season and is set for a move to the Premier League, with United his most likely destination. Kagawa has had a fine season in the Bundesliga, scoring 13 goals to help Dortmund win the title, and they had hoped to persuade him to stay on this summer. However, sporting director Michael Zorc has confirmed Kagawa has decided against signing a new deal and he is set for the Premier League. He said: "Shinji is going to play in England because he has officially rejected our offer of a new contract." United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been heavily linked with the Japan star and reports say he will offer him a three-year contract at Old Trafford worth around £5 million a year.
