Wiese considering Real offer

Werder Bremen goalkeeper Tim Wiese claims he has been approached by Real Madrid over a summer switch to Spain.

The Germany international is a free agent at the end of the season and has already revealed his intention to leave the German side. Real Madrid face competition from Inter and AC Milan for the stopper's signature, as well as Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim. On the Real link, Wiese said: "If such a story comes into circulation, there is usually some truth in it. There is contact between Real and my agent." While admitting he favours a move abroad, Wiese has not yet made a firm decision. "The international option appeals to me, of course, as those (La Liga and Serie A) are great leagues," he added. "But there are many factors which play a role in such a decision, such as the family. I must think carefully."
