Premier League new boys Blackpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Burnley forward Robbie Blake after he rejected a new contract.
The 34-year-old is believed to be keen on a return to the top-flight after the Clarets failed to offer him the two-year deal without strings he wanted to remain at Turf Moor.
Blake was instead given the chance to put pen to paper on a 12-month agreement with the option of a further year providing he made 20 appearance next season.
The former Leeds star is understood to have already rejected the advances of Preston after admitting that he doesn't want to sign for another club in the same division after playing nearly 250 games for Burnley during two separate spells.
A switch to the Seasiders could therefore be the ideal solution with reports emerging that he is set for talks for Blackpool boss Ian Holloway about a possible deal.
