Burnley winger Ross Wallace is rated as 50-50 for the trip to joint npower Championship leaders Cardiff.
Wallace was set to be part of an unchanged XI named by caretaker boss Terry Pashley for the 4-3 win at Bristol City on Tuesday night, but pulled up with a hamstring injury in the warm-up. Martin Paterson was named in his place and netted the Clarets' third goal on a dramatic evening at Ashton Gate. Defender Ben Mee will sit out the action this weekend having picked up a fifth booking of the season in midweek, with Joseph Mills poised to return to the starting line-up at left-back. Midfielder Marvin Bartley is an injury absentee due to a groin complaint. Pashley is chasing his third consecutive win at the helm since stepping in for the outgoing Eddie Howe earlier this month.
