Eagles exit dismissed

Burnley are playing down rumours linking former Manchester United winger Chris Eagles with a £1m move to Sunderland.
The Clarets would be reluctant to sell him at that price in any case having splashed out a little more than that when they signed the 24-year-old from United, although his contract is due to expire at the end of the coming season.
Eagles has reportedly fallen out with Burnley boss Brian Laws who is already eyeing a move for rival winger Andrew Driver from Hearts.
However, it would seem a switch to Black Cats is not on the cards with sources in the North-East claiming Steve Bruce has no interest in securing Eagles' services.
