Burnley boss Eddie Howe wants to get business done early this summer, but insists he remains in the dark with regards to his transfer budget.

Danny Ings, Junior Stanislas and Zavon Hines all arrived at Turf Moor after the current campaign began, and Howe is aiming to avoid a repeat as he looks to build a squad capable of challenging for npower Championship promotion.
However, a budget is not yet in place as a number of factors remain up in the air, including the future of sought-after top scorer Jay Rodriguez.
"We know the areas we want to strengthen," Howe told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. "We do believe we need to add numbers to the squad because we are too light on the ground. But everything will be decided by finances. It's going to be tight.
"I think it's dependent on a lot of factors, and I don't think, in fairness to the board, that they know at the moment because there are other factors that will decide that."
He added: "It's very much a case of play it by ear, which isn't a great situation to be in, but we're confident we can bring in the right players to improve the squad and hopefully we can do that."
