Burnley manager Eddie Howe is open to the possibility of signing on-loan Millwall winger Josh McQuoid on a permanent basis.
McQuoid has made 15 appearances for the Clarets since moving to Turf Moor in January and opened his account for the club with a magnificent 30-yard strike in the 2-1 Easter Monday win at Doncaster.
Howe accepts a clearer picture will emerge over the 22-year-old's future in the summer, but he offered a glowing appraisal of a player he also managed during his time in charge of Bournemouth.
"That will be something that we'll have to think about and see, but he has done well," he said.
"We're very pleased with him, not just in his performances but his contribution around the place.
"Obviously, knowing him from my Bournemouth days it's been great to work with him again and we'll wait and see what happens."
