Keeper in fitness race

Burnley, 11:56, October 29, 2009 ,

Burnley boss Owen Coyle says he is 'hopeful' that keeper Brian Jensen will be fit to face Hull at the weekend.

The 'Beast' is recovering from ankle ligament damage he picked up in the defeat at home to Wigan last week but Coyle believes he may have shaken off the problem in time to face Hull.
If Jensen is not ready then Diego Penny will step in but Coyle is hopeful, he told the club's website: "I would hope he will be in contention.
"If Brian is fit he will play.
"He has not been able to train with the group as yet and won't be able to do a full session today.
"But he has got better and we will give him every chance and see where that takes us.
"He will have to train tomorrow if he has any chance and if he does that we will have a look at it."
