Mears not for sale - Clarets

Burnley have dismissed reports that they are to sell highly rated full-back Tyrone Mears to Sunderland before the window closes.
Clarets boss Brian Laws is looking to add to his squad rather than sell any of his top players but that has not stopped Mears being linked with a switch away.
Burnley say they have had no contact with Sunderland over a move and nor do they want any, Sunderland chairman Nial Quinn also said on Monday morning that he expected little if any business at the Stadium of light.
Meanwhile a statement from Burnley said: "Burnley Football Club can confirm that contrary to media reports, the club is not in talks with Sunderland over the potential transfer of full-back Tyrone Mears."
