Burnley have secured the services of Reading defender Joseph Mills on a season-long loan deal.
The 22-year-old left-back becomes Clarets boss Eddie Howe's fourth new recruit of the summer.
Mills soon faces the prospect of playing against his older brother Matt, who recently transferred to Bolton from Leicester, as the Clarets host the Trotters on the first day of the npower Championship season.
The attack-minded full-back made 14 league appearances as the Royals booked promotion to the Premier League, including a start at Turf Moor in October.
Mills previously made 35 appearances for Southampton, helping the Saints win the Football League Trophy in 2010, before moving to the Madejski Stadium last August.
