Paterson out for Clarets

Burnley will be without Martin Paterson for the Capital One Cup clash with Plymouth.
The forward will be sidelined for at least another week after scans revealed he suffered a grade one hamstring tear in the opening-day win against Bolton. Paterson, who opened the scoring against the Clarets' East Lancashire rivals, was hopeful of featuring against Huddersfield on Saturday before his injury was revealed to be more serious than originally thought. Sam Vokes is set to deputise once again up front. Republic of Ireland winger Keith Treacy is likely to start on the bench once again as he continues his recovery from a groin problem. Treacy was a doubt for the Terriers clash but was deemed fit enough to come on midway through the second half. Danny Ings remains on the sidelines with a long-term knee injury.
