Burton set the bar
Burton boss Gary Rowett told his players they have set the standard for the season with their Capital One Cup victory over Sheffield United.
Albion recorded their first-ever League Cup win on Saturday with a penalty shoot-out triumph following a 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane.
Rowett's side begin their npower League Two campaign away at pre-season promotion favourites Rotherham at the weekend.
Ahead of the trip to south Yorkshire he said: "I'm really proud of the players, that performance set the bar for the season.
"The lads put in a performance and did what we asked them to do. I thought we showed a real togetherness.
"Whatever happened in the game, we just urged them to react in a positive way and deal with the problems. I thought you saw three or four times when the game turned for different reasons that every single time we stood up to it and dealt with the game."
