Cardiff have denied reports that Norwich have made an approach for manager Malky Mackay.
Norwich manager Paul Lambert's resignation has been rejected, but it has been reported the Norfolk club have asked permission to speak with Mackay after their advances for Celtic boss Neil Lennon were also turned down. A Cardiff spokesman said: "The club will not get involved in speculative lines in every instance, but at this moment no approach has been made to Cardiff City for Malky." Mackay, who signed a new long-term contract with the Bluebirds until 2016 in February, spent six years as a player with Norwich, who he skippered to promotion to the Premier League in 2004.
