Bluebirds gear up for Clarkson bid

Motherwell's Scotland international striker Dave Clarkson is a reported summer target of Cardiff City.
It is claimed Bluebirds boss Dave Jones has earmarked the 24-year-old as a possible summer recruit given the success of his past raid on Fir Park when he snapped up Ross McCormack.
A reported source in Scotland was quoted in the South Wales Echo, saying: "Cardiff representatives have been here several times last season and Clarkson is a very talented player.
"Like McCormack, he is a handful in the Scottish Premier League and could easily make the adjustment to the Championship.
"He scored on his international debut and he has kept his place in the squad, he certainly has an eye for goal and is very well respected in the SPL."
