Duo doubtful for Bluebirds

Craig Bellamy is a big doubt for Cardiff as they attempt to record seven successive home wins against Burnley.

The 33-year-old missed the Bluebirds' victory over Ipswich having taken a bang to his knee but his comeback against Watford lasted just 45 minutes and he was replaced at the interval after his ankle swelled up. Tommy Smith also had to be withdrawn in the 2-1 victory over the Hornets with a tight hamstring and both players will be assessed. Craig Conway and Joe Mason are waiting in the wings to step in while former Birmingham midfielder Jordon Mutch is expected to be available after recovering from a foot injury.
