Helguson heads to Cardiff

Striker Heidar Helguson has joined Cardiff on a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee from QPR.
The 34-year-old scored nine Premier League goals last season and 28 in 80 appearances in all competition for the west London club after joining from Bolton in 2008. The former Iceland International frontman will take squad number 22 for the forthcoming season at Cardiff City Stadium.
