Don Cowie expects Cardiff team-mate Kenny Miller to start firing in the goals after the striker broke his barren spell in the 1-1 draw with Watford on Monday.

Miller had gone 1,319 minutes without finding the net for the Bluebirds before he handed the Welsh side the lead against the Hornets, only for Nyron Nosworthy to level for the visitors. And now Cowie is anticipating a glut of goals from his Scotland international colleague as Cardiff look to secure a place in the npower Championship play-offs. "Everyone was delighted for Kenny to get the goal," he told Wales Online. "It's been well publicised that he's been in a bit of a drought. None of us lost any faith in him or any confidence in him. "I think the fact the manager (Malky Mackay) kept playing him showed he was right behind him as well. "We knew it was only a matter of time before a goal would come and hopefully now in these last four games he can kick on and get us into the play-off places. Kenny is a great striker, one of the best in this league. We know if we can create chances for him then he can put them away."
