Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay has revealed he is looking to sign 2-3 new players before the start for the Championship season.
The Bluebirds have already brought in four players this season, Kim, Lewis, Mutch and Velikonja, however boss Malky Mackay hopes to tie up a few more deals to bolster his squad. As both Heaton and Miller have already departed the club and with uncertainty over the futures of Whittingham and Gerrard, the Cardiff boss will been keen to strengthen his side. Malky has told the clubs chairman that he doesn't want to part with any of his players and intends to build on what resources the club currently has. "I'm delighted with the signings so far: Joe Lewis, on a free, our goalkeeper, and Jordan Mutch as well... Etien Velikonja who we've tracked for a couple of years, he used to play Champions League football," said Mackay. "I'd certainly like to get another two or three players in if we can do that."
