Terriers start for Bluebirds

Cardiff will begin yet another quest to get out of the npower Championship by hosting Huddersfield on the opening day of the 2012/13 season.

The Bluebirds, beaten in the play-offs last season, then face trips to Brighton and rivals Bristol City. The festive schedule throws up back-to-back home games with Crystal Palace and Millwall on Boxing Day and December 29 respectively while they begin 2013 with a visit to Birmingham on New Year's Day. The Robins make the return journey over the Severn Bridge on February 16, while the season comes to a close with a visit to Hull on May 4.
