Beenhakker says Boruc must learn

Celtic, 12:10, August 27, 2008 ,

Poland coach Leo Beenhakker has promised Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc a second chance after his World Cup qualifying axe.

Boruc has been dropped from the upcoming double-header against Slovenia and San Marino after allegedly breaking a curfew following last week's friendly in Ukraine to have a night out with team-mates Dariusz Dudka and Radoslaw Majewski.
Beenhakker has assured Boruc his international career is not over and told him to put the alleged incident down as a life experience.
"I phoned Artur on Monday to tell him before it was made public. I wanted him to hear first and get a full explanation for my decision," Beenhakker said.
"I wanted to stress that his Poland career is not over. Artur made a mistake. In life, we all make them."
